"Gevrey-Chambertin" Bourchard Pere & Fils 2008

A difficult vintage weather wise for Burgundy wines. "2008 is a vintage which has taken its time all along the ageing. The wines are showing a deep and lively colour and noses of stewed red and black fruit combined with hints of spices. In the mouth, they are concentrated, rich and generous, with a structure of marked though round tannins.
